JSMM + VBM is excited to announce that Mark Mazzarese has joined our team as COO and Simon Kuo as SVP executive creative director.
Mark Mazzarese is a nationally recognized and accomplished executive, specializing in luxury brands, products and services working cross-functionally to translate a company and/or brand’s values, mission and strategic priorities into a synchronized strategy. He has more than 20 years of sales development and management experience while running his family business in the jewelry, timepiece and accessories industries. Mark is experienced with brand and image management and development; marketing and public relations; cultivating new growth opportunities; and fostering positive, lasting business relationships.
Simon Kuo will be leading the visual creative direction for the agency by providing clients with original photography and videos that produce authentic and meaningful content.
Simon Kuo is a senior executive who is passionate about creating vision, strategy, products and creative for small to multi-billion dollar businesses. As a photographer, he has been published internationally and his work has been featured in Inc. Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, The Kansas City Star and other national publications. Clients of his commissioned work include Sporting Kansas City, HP, Procter & Gamble and numerous others. He has been directly responsible for developing and managing products that have generated over $1.5B in revenues; and has led the strategy, business planning and competitive intelligence functions in Fortune 65 to 300 companies. In 2016, he helped co-found the Kauffman Foundation funded artists network Guildit. He is currently a member of the National Press Photographers Association and president of the Kansas City/Mid America Chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers.
Simon combines technicality with creativity. “My focus has always been to fuse technical excellence with creativity and creative collaboration. I’m excited to work with the JSMM + VBM team to redefine how social and advertising are done,” Kuo said.
